Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use this website and when you book Wild Hearts Production to photograph or film your wedding.

Every booking is also covered by a separate written contract signed before your date is secured. That contract sets out the specifics of your collection, your payment schedule and your cancellation terms. Where these terms and your booking contract differ, your contract prevails.

Enquiries and quotes

Nothing on this website is an offer capable of acceptance. Prices shown are a starting point and indicate where collections begin; your quote depends on your date, location, hours of coverage and the collection you choose. A quote is not a booking, and prices may change until a date is secured.

Securing your date

A date is held for 72 hours while you consider a quote. It is secured only once a signed contract and the booking deposit, typically 25% of your total, have been received. Until then the date remains available to other couples.

The balance is payable in accordance with the schedule in your booking contract. Travel fees apply for weddings outside Brisbane and are calculated by location; these are set out in your quote before you commit.

Cancellation and postponement

The booking deposit secures your date and takes it off the market, so it is not refundable. Your booking contract sets out what applies if you cancel or postpone, including any sliding scale that applies closer to the date, and how we treat a transfer to a new date where we are available.

If you need to move or cancel your wedding, tell us as early as you can and we will work with you.

Delivering your photographs and films

Galleries are delivered within 30 days for Essential collections, 60 days for Signature and 90 days for Luxury. Films are delivered alongside your gallery. These timeframes run from your wedding date and assume we have everything we need from you.

  • Photographs are delivered as high-resolution edited images through a private online gallery.
  • Films are delivered by private link in 4K or 1080p, with USB delivery available.
  • Raw and unedited photographs are not supplied; our editing is part of the work you are commissioning. Raw video footage can be added to any film package.
  • Music in your film is licensed from curated libraries. We cannot use commercial tracks that are not cleared for this purpose.

Please download and back up your gallery promptly. We archive your images and will help where we can if you lose your copies, but we do not guarantee indefinite storage.

Copyright and how you may use your images

We retain copyright in all photographs and films we create. You receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use them for personal purposes. That includes printing them, sharing them with family and friends, and posting them on your own social media.

  • Please do not crop, filter or otherwise materially alter the images before sharing them.
  • A credit to Wild Hearts Production when sharing publicly is appreciated, though not required.
  • Commercial use, resale, licensing to third parties, or supply to a venue, vendor or publication for their own promotion requires our written permission. We are generally happy to grant it.

Our use of your images in our portfolio and marketing is covered in our privacy policy and in your booking contract, and you may decline it.

What we ask of you

  • Give us accurate details of your timeline, locations and key people, and tell us promptly if they change.
  • Arrange access and any permits your venue or location requires, including for drone work where it is part of your collection.
  • Let us know about anything sensitive, such as family circumstances we should handle with care.
  • Treat our team with respect. We may stop work where a person's safety is at risk.

If something goes wrong

We carry professional equipment with backups, photograph to dual card slots where the camera supports it, and keep multiple copies of your files until delivery.

  • If a photographer or videographer cannot attend through illness, injury or another cause beyond our control, we will send a suitably qualified replacement. If we cannot, we will refund the fees paid for the coverage not provided.
  • If circumstances beyond anyone's reasonable control prevent us performing, such as extreme weather, natural disaster, or a government restriction, we will work with you to reschedule.
  • In the unlikely event of total equipment or media failure, our liability is limited to the fees you have paid us.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with your booking is limited to the fees paid under it.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms or in your booking contract limits those guarantees. Where we are permitted to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee, we limit it to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
