Privacy Policy

We only collect information you choose to give us. That is:

• Enquiries. When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, and optionally your phone number, wedding date, venue and the message you write.
• Wedding planner. The planner saves your answers in your own browser so you can come back to a part-finished plan. That information stays on your device unless you choose to send it to us with a quote request.
• Quote requests. If you request a quote from the planner we collect your name, email address, optional phone number and message, together with the plan you built.
• Correspondence. Emails, messages and call notes exchanged while we are discussing or delivering your wedding.

You do not need an account to use this website, and we do not ask couples to create one.

This website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and move through it, so we know which of our work is worth showing more of. It sets cookies in your browser and sends information about your visit to Google, acting as our service provider.

• What it records: the pages you view and when, how you arrived, roughly where in the world you are, and the kind of device and browser you used.
• What it does not record: your name, your email address, or anything you type into our enquiry or quote forms. We never send Google the details of an enquiry.
• Google derives an approximate location from your IP address but does not store the address itself, and we cannot see it.

We use these figures only in aggregate. We do not run advertising on this site, we do not set advertising cookies, and we do not sell or share this information for advertising.

If you would rather not be counted, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on, block cookies for this site, or use your browser's private mode. Nothing on this website stops working if you do.

Separately from analytics, the only thing we store in your browser ourselves is the wedding planner draft described above, which you can clear at any time through your browser settings. And where we embed a film, the video player is provided by Vimeo and may set its own cookies once you press play — that is governed by Vimeo's privacy policy, not ours.

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
• To plan, deliver and support the photography and film services you book.
• To issue invoices and keep the business records we are required to keep.
• To contact you about your booking.

We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked us to, and we never sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Photographing a wedding means creating images of you, your family and your guests. This deserves to be spelled out clearly.

• Your images are stored securely and shared only with you, unless you have agreed otherwise in writing.
• We would like to show a small selection of our work in our portfolio, on this website and on social media. Your booking contract sets out whether you have agreed to this.
• You can decline, and you can change your mind. If you would prefer your wedding not to appear publicly, or you would like an image already published taken down, email us at info@wildheartsproduction.com and we will remove it from anything within our control.
• We never submit your images to competitions, publications or vendor features without asking you first.

We use a small number of service providers to run this business. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Cloudflare — hosts this website and runs the code that forwards your enquiry to us. It keeps standard server logs.
• Resend — delivers your enquiry to our inbox as an email.
• Google Analytics — measures visits to this website, as described above. It receives no enquiry details.
• Vimeo — serves the films embedded on this site.

These providers operate internationally and may store or process information on servers outside Australia. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.

Enquiries are sent over an encrypted connection and forwarded straight to our inbox. We do not run a database of enquiries: once your message reaches us it lives in our email, and nowhere else. Access is limited to the people who run the business.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required.

We keep enquiry emails for as long as there is a reasonable prospect of working together, and booking records for as long as we are required to retain them for tax and legal purposes. Wedding images are archived so that we can help if you lose your copies. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@wildheartsproduction.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first.

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please tell us first at info@wildheartsproduction.com so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

We may update this policy as the business changes. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
