Byron Bay is one of the few places in Australia where the setting does not have to be worked around. The beaches, the hinterland, the lighthouse and the light all give a film something before a single decision is made.

We film regularly at Wategos Beach and Julian Rocks, and at hinterland estates around Bangalow, Newrybar and Federal. The northerly latitude means golden hour arrives earlier and lasts longer than anywhere else on the east coast, and we build the day's filming around it.

Wind is the real constraint on a Byron beach ceremony, and it is an audio problem before it is a picture one. We rig for it, so your vows are audible in the film rather than lost to the surf.

We are fully insured and familiar with Byron Bay Council permit requirements for beach ceremonies, and we cut vertical edits alongside the film so there is something to post before the weekend is over.
